Dear Coaches,

Rim (Beresford) Invitational would like to welcome you to the 2010 Rim Varsity Invitational wrestling tournament January 9th.

If you can't make it for the Varsity tournament, send your JV team the following week. January 16th,

A $500 Scholarship will be awarded to the Top Champ of Champs.

Seeding Meeting: Friday, January 8th, 2010 at 6:00 pm by committee. Coaches social will follow. Please post all seeding information on TMI by Thursday, January 7th.

Weights: CIF weights +2 pound allowance 103=105

Admissions: $5.00 adults - $3.00 students

Passes: Each team will receive 2 coaches and 2 stats passes. All others must pay at the door.

Awards: 1st and 2nd, two thirds - Individual Awards
1st, 2nd, 3.d - Team Awards
$500 Scholarship - Champ of Champs

Snack Bar: There will be a full snack bar for your convenience.

Important Note: All bags will be checked for food and drinks before allowing entry. No food or drinks will be allowed in the gym. Please make arrangements with your team to keep your food and drink items in your vehicles. Thank you for your cooperation.

This tournament is a great way to bring your entire team together and many stay in cabins for 1 or 2 extra days. Contact me for cabin info.

EWA FALL 09 Schedule

Style: Folkstyle

Divisions: Kids (unless denoted), Novice, Junior Varsity, Varsity and Open

Kids- USA age groups and will not be a high school freshmen in Fall '09.
Novice- High school student and began wrestling Summer '09
JV- Non-varsity letterman and began wrestling prior to the summer '09
Varsity- Current USAW Cadet or high school student beginning Fall '09
Open- USAW division

Weigh-ins: 7:00 to 8:30 AM ( A late fee may be charged, be on time)

Wrestling Begins: 9:30 AM

Awards: Medals for top three in a weight class of over three wrestlers, two medals in weight classes of three wrestlers and one medal for weight classes with two wrestlers.

Weight Class: usa weight classes (unless otherwise noted)

Entry Fee: $10.00 PER WEIGHT (MAY GO TWO WEIGHTS)

USA Cards are required and may be purchased online for $35.00 plus an online transaction fee. USA Cards may also be purchased the morning of the tournament; however, the cost is $45.00 which includes the price of the card, an online transaction fee, mailing costs and association fee. (This may not be available at all tournaments call ahead to make sure)
